What's the difference between - LED FRETLIGHTS & PHOTONIC FINGERBOARD?

LED FRETLIGHTS - are a single LED bulb in each position / they can be a single color or RGB producing up to 7 colors / colors can be selected by a switch or they can be made to blink (but not chase) / If a bulb fails, they are not replaceable.

PHOTONIC FINGERBOARD - has hundreds of bulbs inside the neck creating a pool of light that can't escape except for where the inlay art is carved through and then filled with a transparent inlay filler.  So the whole inlay get's lit up which provides lots of new possibilities for cool looking art on your guitar neck / because of the way this works, a single bulb failure or even several of them wouldn't impact the results much or even at all / these are "SMART LED's" so with the addition of a controller, these can do all of the colors, all of the effects, react to sound... (chase, rainbow, stacking, to name a few) / This has a basic controller on the guitar but many more options with a remote controll and tons more options by using a phone app via bluetooth.
