Here are some photos showing what the DIY bones body looks like.  

These are meant for people who want to do the detail carving themselves.

My carving station has 6 rotary tools loaded with all the bits ready to go and it still takes me 20 - 30 hours to transform a DIY into an HD that is ready to paint.

My process for carving includes:

Carving off any extra pieces.

I do an overall cleanup of the entire body to remove all milling marks left by the CNC process.

Next I do the basic shaping of the knuckles and end bones.  The CNC does not do under cuts or side cuts so all the shaping & details on the side of the body are added by hand.

Once everything is smoothed out, I start the detail work.  Adding texture, defining details, etc...
